When I’m not running I like cooking, watching movies, swimming, soaking in hot springs, and spending time w/ family/playing with my daughter!
I also love “Goofing” around…in fact while living in Orlando, FL back in the mid 90′s one of my high school jobs was to dress up like Goofy, Tigger, and other various characters at Disney’s Magic Kingdom!
Inspired by Scott Jurek and other endurance athletes I have been vegan (since Sept. 2008) and I honestly don’t ever see myself changing that…I feel great!

You might be wondering what kind of name Yassine is— My father’s side of the family is from Morocco in northwest Africa and many of my relatives still live there. Even though I was born here in the USA I love visiting and am due for another trip there soon!
I’ve been running in Inov-8′s since 2007 and they really work for me especially in the sloppier months here in the Pacific Northwest. I’m honored to be back on the team for 2013!
